After a five-year hiatus, the Friends of Clermont were thrilled to bring our Holiday Candlelight Evening back this season. Despite the cold winter weather, it was a lovely evening enjoyed by all who attended. Guests dined on hors d’oeuvres and explored the mansion by candlelight, which was beautifully decorated for the holidays.
We were pleased to welcome back the Musicians of Ma’alwyck, who carefully selected compositions that date back to when the Livingston family lived at Clermont. This was especially memorable because, for the first time in many years, live music entertained guests inside the mansion.
We want to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Clermont State Historic Site for their help in making the evening one to remember.
