Love for Clermont State Historic Site
Located in Germantown, New York, Friends of Clermont is a not-for-profit organization created to support the work of New York state in conserving the living legacy of Clermont State Historic Site. The site encompasses not only the mansion (rebuilt by Margaret Beekman Livingston and added onto by later generations), but also over 500 acres of landscaped gardens, meadow and woodlands, preserved for the enjoyment of future generations. We welcome the community to explore everything the site has to offer, and strive to broaden its use, access, and enjoyment, with live concerts, garden tours, forest bathing, bird walks, our Harvesting History program, lectures, children's programs, holiday celebrations, and other events.
We're looking for people who can contribute to our mission and help us expand enjoyment of the site.
