Meet our Gardener
Tuesday, August 4
10 - 11 a.m.
Visitors have noticed the remarkable transformation of Clermont’s Walled, Wilderness, and Cutting Gardens—and it’s all thanks to the talent and dedication of Mary Hughes and her team. Their care, creativity, and hard work have brought new life to these historic spaces.
Â
Now, we invite you to meet Mary in person. Join us for a special garden tour where she’ll share insights into her process and the ongoing restoration.
Â
This is a free event, but registration is encouraged.
For the past five years, Friends of Clermont has proudly supported the restoration of the gardens. We’re grateful to our members and donors who have made this work possible.

Yoga at Clermont
Sunday, August 9
10 - 11 a.m.
Join instructor Jai Sugrim for a morning of relaxing yoga at Clermont! Yoga helps to promote a healthy lifestyle, improves cognitive function, and gives you peace of mind. Whether you are a beginner or a yoga aficionado, we invite you to join us for our summer wellness series.
For your comfort, participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats, as classes are held outdoors and mats will not be provided. We also recommend bringing water or a sports drink to stay hydrated during class.
This program is free, but registration is required. In the event of severe weather, classes will be held off-site at Jai Yoga Shala at 224 Main Street in Germantown. Parking is available at the Germantown municipal lot at 200 Main Street. If the program is moved off-site due to weather, all registrants will receive an email notification in advance.
Thank you to Jai Yoga Shala for partnering with us on this program.
