Join us for a Revolutionary Garden Party

Updated: 3 days ago

In celebration of America’s Semiquincentennial,

Friends of Clermont cordially invites you to join us for

Saturday, August 22
4 – 6 p.m. Clermont Walled Garden

1 Clermont Ave, Germantown, NY 12526

Our annual fundraiser is taking on a new look this year. To commemorate America's 250th anniversary, we're inviting guests to an afternoon garden-style cocktail reception on the lawn of a Founding Father—a historic setting as meaningful as the milestone itself.

Enjoy a variety of refreshments, including non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and a signature seasonal cocktail, complemented by savory sandwiches and delectable sweets.

Experience 18th-century games and pastimes presented by Clermont State Historic Site staff — a fun and engaging glimpse into the leisure activities enjoyed during Clermont's early years.

Once again, we’re hosting an online auction featuring a variety of unique items and experiences, with proceeds supporting the Friends of Clermont's mission to preserve, protect, and promote this remarkable historic site.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, there is no more fitting place to gather and reflect than on the grounds of one of the individuals who helped shape the American story. Join us for an unforgettable evening of history, music, community, and celebration as we honor Clermont's enduring legacy and help ensure that its stories continue to inspire future generations.

Get your tickets by Sunday, August 16. All ages are welcome. Tickets are $60 per person for Friends of Clermont members and $75 for non-members. Children 12 and under are free of charge (just let us know they will be joining you).
