Take a walk through time with Bob at Clermont State Historic Site!
He’ll share how the Ice Age transformed the land and created the beautiful scenery that surrounds us today.

Chancellor's Open House Series: Boltwood House

Don't miss this unique opportunity to have dinner with our Executive Director Randy Tryon and his spouse in their historic 1913 center-hall colonial home.
The evening will include a multi-course dinner service and a fun game of trivia centered around our beloved Clermont!

Chancellor's Open House Series: The Dow Van Buren House

Enjoy a multi-course dinner in a stately Federal period home, circa 1795, owned by our board member John Delikanakis and his partner, German.

Poetry in the Parks: There Once Was a Family Called Livingston

2 p.m.
Honoria Livingston, the last resident of Clermont, kept a poetry journal during her youth. Join us as we take a look at some of her pieces in an open-mic style Livingston Poetry Slam.
There might even be some verse from the Chancellor.

5 p.m.
Celebrate the season with us at Marton & Davis at 33 Main Street, Chatham for a special Holiday Shopping Night benefiting the Friends of Clermont.
Enjoy a glass of bubbly, good company, and beautiful gifts — with 15% of all sales donated to support the Friends of Clermont. Shop local, spread holiday joy, and make your purchases more meaningful this season.

18th Century Games
Thursday, November 20
6:30 p.m.
Come play the 18th century way in Poughkeepsie! Learn three popular games from the 1700s. Test your agility and gracefulness with Graces, dodge whoever is “It” in Blindman’s Bluff, and stump your friends with Pass the Slipper. These beloved games were favorites among New York’s youth over 250 years ago. We think you’ll enjoy them too!
Please note: This program will be held at the Boardman Road Branch of the Poughkeepsie Library District. Registration required.

Crafty Kids Thanksgiving
Saturday, November 22
11 a.m.
We’re welcoming in the holiday with paper bag turkeys - the perfect centerpiece for your holiday table.
A fun craft for kids ages 2 to 12. Light instruction is offered; creativity is encouraged.
Please note: This is a program for children; all children must be accompanied by an adult, and all adults must be accompanied by a child.

Holiday Food Drive
Saturday, November 1 - Wednesday, December 31
Through the end of December, we are hosting a food drive to support the Germantown Food Pantry and the communities it serves.
Non-perishable food items can be dropped off in the designated collection bin at the Visitor Center at 1 Clermont Avenue, Germantown during normal business hours.
