Friends of Clermont to participate in Growing Together: A Tour of Mid-Hudson Gardens

Poughkeepsie, NY — Garden lovers, families and community members are invited to experience the beauty and diversity of gardens in the Hudson Valley during Growing Together: A Tour of Mid-Hudson Gardens. This is a free, self-guided garden tour taking place on Saturday, July 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (rain or shine).

This collaborative event brings together historic estates and gardens, educational programs, and community gardens across the Mid-Hudson region for a day celebrating horticulture, local history, wellness, and community connection. Visitors are invited to visit as many of the gardens as they wish. Registration is recommended; pre-registered guests will enjoy access each garden without having to sign in at every stop.

• Montgomery Place 55 Montgomery Place, Red Hook, NY

• Pleasant Valley Community Garden 1907 Salt Point Turnpike, Salt Point

• Wilderstein 330 Morton Rd, Rhinebeck

The tour features a wide range of gardens, from historic landscapes and formal gardens to regenerative gardens focused on food security and health. Organizers hope the event will inspire visitors to connect more deeply with the region’s natural beauty, community, and environment.
