About the Event

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday January 15, 2024, please join us for a celebration of community at Clermont State Historic Site, with free tours. Tours will be held on the hour from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. All tours are offered on a first come first serve basis and tours will be limited to 14 people per tour. In addition to the tours, the community is invited to explore the exhibit, enjoy free refreshments, and family-friendly activities in the Visitor Center.

Please Note: Please check in at the Visitor Center to get your free tickets. The Visitor Center will open at 10:30 am. These free tours are generously underwritten by the Friends of Clermont.

Clermont State Historic Site is part of The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation’s Our Whole History Initiative, which seeks to tell a more complete story of the site including the enslaved people, servants, tenants, Indigenous people, women, and other underrepresented groups who called Clermont home.
