CLERMONT

Over the years, we've welcomed hundreds of volunteers to Clermont who have assisted with our annual events, beautified our formal gardens, planted in our Harvesting History Teaching Garden, educated our visitors as docents in the mansion, and so much more. 

• We welcome volunteers of all ages

• Younger volunteers should be accompanied by an adult. Some of our most active volunteers are students at local schools!

Love gardening? 

We’re looking for volunteers to plant, grow, and harvest food. Volunteer opportunities vary from twice per month to more than once per week, and are open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Volunteer shifts of 1-3 hours are preferred. This is a seasonal volunteer position; we start seeds in March and our growing season ends in early November.

 

We need help with the following garden-related tasks:

• Start seeds and planting indoors

• Plant vegetables, herbs, and flowers in the outdoor 50’ X 50’ garden

• Mulch in-ground beds

• Weed

• Harvest and package community donations
