About the Event

On January 14, 1784, the Continental Congress ratified the Treaty of Paris, and the Revolutionary War was officially over in a newly free America. Clermont’s Curator of Collections and Education Geoff Benton will examine the treaty and what it meant for the new country. This lecture is free but space is extremely limited. Those wishing to attend must register in advance.
