The museum store at Clermont State Historic Site is operated by the Friends of Clermont by agreement
with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Proceeds from the
museum store are used to maintain the store and to support museum education programs at the site. The
Friends primary purpose in operating the store is to provide an additional amenity for the visiting public
and to encourage our guests to learn more about the history, art, architecture and natural resources at
Clermont and within the "Great Estates" region of New York State.
Since 1987 the museum store has been located in the Visitor Center, formerly the Livingston family's
19th century carriage barn. The store's hours of operation are:
April 1 - October 31
Tuesday through Sunday, 10:30 am to 5 pm
Monday holidays, 10:30 am to 5 pm
November 1 - March 31
